AFM works with our ministry partners to ensure that how we serve and how we give doesn’t adversely impact their ministry.  As such, we recommend that you purchase and read a few or all of the following books as they touch on a lot of the practices that we try to incorporate with our teams.  We will provide further pre-field training, but this is a good starting point for getting prepared for your trip.
