Austin and Julia Panter

Austin & Jules

Austin and Jules first met while serving with Africa Freedom Mission’s winter trip in Zambia. What began as a shared love for Jesus and a passion to see the Gospel reach the nations has grown into a life of ministry, leadership, and family. Today, Austin and Jules are married, parents of two, and continue to serve together as a vital part of the work of Freedom House International and Africa Freedom Mission.

Austin serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Freedom House International and Africa Freedom Mission. In this role, he oversees the various teams and ministries operating stateside and works to help build, strengthen, and sustain the culture of the ministry as it continues to grow.

Austin also continues to lead teams overseas alongside Jules, serving and equipping teams as they minister in the nations. He regularly teaches within the Freedom House Discipleship School, where he has the privilege of investing in the next generation of leaders.

At the heart of everything Austin does is a passion to see people encounter Jesus, be formed by Him, and become faithful messengers of the Gospel. He carries a particular burden to disciple and equip the next generation of leaders who feel called to preach the Gospel to every nation. Whether he is leading a team overseas, developing leaders stateside, teaching students, or helping shape the culture of the ministry, his desire is to see people faithfully respond to the call of God on their lives.

Jules serves as the Executive Administrator for Freedom House International and Africa Freedom Mission. She oversees the administrative responsibilities that help keep the ministry moving forward, particularly surrounding major events, organizational needs, and the coordination of the ministry stateside.

Jules brings a deep love for people and a gift for creating the structure and organization that allows others to thrive. While much of her work happens behind the scenes, her role is essential in helping the ministry function well and creating space for teams and leaders to focus on what God has called them to do.

Together, Austin and Jules have a unique opportunity to serve both the people who are being sent and the people who are being reached. They spend time leading and serving overseas while also investing in the ministry stateside—developing leaders, strengthening teams, building culture, and preparing the next generation to carry the Gospel into the nations.

And now, they get to do it while raising their two children and building a family that they pray will know and love Jesus deeply.

Their desire is not simply to go overseas or lead a ministry. Their desire is to see a generation of people formed by Jesus, equipped to lead, and sent to faithfully proclaim the Gospel wherever God calls them.

They are inviting others to become part of that mission through prayer and financial partnership. Their ministry is made possible through a community of people who believe in what God is doing through Freedom House International and Africa Freedom Mission and are willing to stand with them as they continue to serve.

Would you prayerfully consider partnering with Austin and Jules?

Your partnership helps them continue to lead, disciple, equip, and send—investing in people who will carry the Gospel into their communities, their workplaces, their campuses, and the nations.

We believe the Gospel is worth giving our lives to. And we believe we are better when we do it together.
